Problem:

Is it possible to allow for a job submission to have no mem/vmem limit? As in the job should have a ulimit of unlimited for max mem/vmem. We are struggling with a certain application that runs fine on the bare metal compute node, but fails due to memory restrictions when from via qsub even though more than required memory was requested.

Solution:

$ignmem true
$ignvmem true

Those two value ignore vmem/mem ulimits.
